Colour of lavender
Lavender is considered as a cultural symbol of Provence, thanks to its many different colours, scents but also its medicinal purposes. From the history of lavender to modern cultivation, the rhythm of seasons and the life of local people... it is a rich heritage still to be discovered and explored. Tradition around the cultivation of this aromaric plant dates back from the early 20th century, and has been modernized thanks to scientific progress and men's ideas.
